Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto by Mark Levin, has been one of the Top Ten books on the New York Times best seller list for 24 weeks.
Without ever having been reviewed by either the New York Times or the Washington Post, Mark Levin’s Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto has now sold one million copies, according to its publisher, Threshold Editions.Levin is a nationally syndicated radio host, president of the Landmark Legal Foundation, and served as chief of staff to Atty. Gen. Ed Meese in the Reagan Justice Department. Liberty and Tyranny has been riding high on non-fiction bestseller lists ever since it was released in late March. It debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times best seller list and has remained in the Top Ten on that list for 24 straight weeks. It is currently No. 7. (Levin's previous two books, Men in Black: How the Supeme Court is Destroying America and Rescuing Sprite: A Dog Lovers Story of Joy and Anguish, were also New York Times best sellers.) Despite Liberty and Tyranny’s tremendous sales and high-ranking on the Times’ best seller list, the Times itself has never reviewed the book, only giving it a few blurbs in its ‘Inside the List” feature that runs in the Sunday edition. The Washington Post has also never reviewed the book. Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto lays out a vision for America that is rooted in the Constitution and in the Founding Fathers’ vision of strictly limited government and individual self-reliance. As such, its message stands in stark contrast to the agenda being advanced by President Barack Obama, which includes a government takeover of General Motors and a government makeover of the entire U.S. health care system.

joeliberty - I like your thinking, but I'm afraid a 3rd party is going to guarantee a second term for Obama and the rest of the corruption. I am hoping that we can smoke out all spineless center, and center right GOP-ers, and take back the party. Although I'd like to flush the GOP, I think we can reach our destination faster and with less pain, by taking back the Republican Party....my two cents.

how did this country get soooo un American ? we get news like in third world countries, or communist countries. no truth what so ever ! thank god for fox news ! where is the news about van jones, accorn ? van jones a self proclaimed communist ! accorn that does business with a pimp and prostitude, using under age girls from san salvador ? where is it ? they work for obama, and receive millions and millions of our tax money to support themselves ! where is the news ? we have a socialist communist so called president, with over 20yrs of black panther hate ! and the bring down america as we know it ! god dam america sound familiar ? bankrupt the country, take over large corp, medical, freedom of speech,building his own police force , for what ? full gov control is the answer ! wake up people ! your not going to like living under communism ! what about our children ? when they ask ? why did we vote in communism ! because there lives are going to suck ! and so is ours !

By ignoring Levin's book, they are sowing the seeds of their own demise. Eventually more and more people will catch on, and question NYT integrity. The NYT in its current form will disappear as a result. So, I hope they never do a review of a Conservative book. In the mean time let's keep supporting and developing our own information streams, reporters, news outlets, marketers, advertisers, cinematographers and when we are large enough, they will have to come and play on our field by our rules.

Of course these two "news"papers won't review it, they are too stupid to understand the message. Its funny watching the dwindling power of the liberal media, they are out of touch with the way most Americans think. I canceled my subscription to the Atlanta Journal Constitution several years ago after subscribing for 30 years. We should let them all go out of business instead of pushing just one agenda.

Levin is a bright person who wrote a good book. But the NYT and Washington Post has no obligation to do a review. In fact, they have no obligation to tell the news as it is or the way people want the news to be reported. President Obama brought stability to a nation that reeling towards Third World status. But most of all, his ascendancy brought a halt to Global Warming, the Ozone hole was filled, the economy recovered, the nation is at peace again. Levin sold 1M books, but the story of our Prez warrants more coverage and the NYT did it. Its their mission to cover our influential Prez given the changes that our new and enlightened president has brought. The circumstance to which the Baracka came is no different from those of an earlier savior. Brought into the world in an unknown condition and location, he rose to become the most powerful person on earth. His actions and words are the signs of a great teacher, philosopher - A Messiah, the Great One. Accept it folks. Don't blame NYT.

I am loving the direction American's are going in, Everytime Obama open's his mouth and talks of his Marxist Dreams for this country...Millions of American's are not having any of this unAmerican President, who thinks he's God..Ahhh its going to end badely for this Historic President, he'll go down in History as our worst.
